Local JET forecourt celebrates success at national industry awards
JET’s Cotgrave Service Station has been recognised as one of the top-performing forecourts in the Midlands at the petrol retailing industry’s national awards.
The JET forecourt in Cotgrave, Nottingham, was shortlisted as one of the top three forecourts in its size category* in the Midlands at the Forecourt Trader of the Year Awards 2014.
The judging panel was very impressed by the family run business’ ability to retain many of its ‘old-fashioned’ qualities, but also offer all the modern facilities customers expect. Judges also praised the company for its ongoing commitment to investing in the forecourt and its facilities, and for working closely with the surrounding local community.
Lee Whiteman, the third generation of his family to manage the Cotgrave site, comments: “We were absolutely delighted to be recognised as one of the top three Midlands’ forecourts in our size category. We’ve served generations of local families over the past 54 years and are very committed to meeting the needs of our local community.
“Our customers – whether old or new – appreciate the many value-added services we offer: from changing a bulb, to help filling up with fuel or checking tyre pressures and oil levels. We would like to thank all our customers for their ongoing support as without them we certainly wouldn’t have achieved this success in these national awards!”
